Angie Tucker Anderson, MHA, MSN, FNP-BC
Angie Tucker Anderson, MSN, MHA, FNP-BC has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare as a registered nurse, healthcare administrator and nurse practitioner. Ms. Anderson received her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA in 1997. She is also a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, receiving a Master of Healthcare Administration in 2006. She also received a Master of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2012. She is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds an Advanced Certification in Obesity Medicine from the Obesity Medicine Association. She also completed the Advanced Practice Provider Assessment Based Certificate (ABC) by the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. Ms. Anderson has specialty expertise in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine.

She is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), The Obesity Society (TOS), the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP). She has been serving on the Obesity Medicine Association NP Board since 2018.

Jan A. Zarefoss, AGACNP-BC
Jan A Zarefoss, MSN, AAS-RN ,BS Biology, AGACNP-BC, an experienced clinician with more than 20 years of experience in primary care, internal medicine and geriatric services. Jan received her Associate in Applied Science from John Tyler Community College as Registered Nurse in 1993 and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1980. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Jan has worked in skilled nursing facilities, practiced in hospital medicine and was head of an office based primary care practice. She has also worked in Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, and Hormone Replacement Therapy.
She is passionate about providing the best clinical care to her patients.
